What will I learn?
You will study a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering Technologies where you will build on the knowledge gained during your Sub-Diploma in General Engineering
You’ll develop an in-depth understanding of:
- Engineering mathematics
- Further engineering mathematics
- Further engineering science
- Mechanical Engineering
- Principles or Further Electrical and electronics principles
- Advanced manufacturing
- Engineering design process
Level 3 Sub-Diploma in engineering technologies or Level 3 diploma in engineering technologies.
Five GCSE grade 4 or above including English and maths.
Once you have completed this course you can join our HNC, secure an apprenticeship or progress into employment or university.
This course is free to those aged under 19 years old.
Most people aged 19 years and over can qualify for free course fees and there are grants and bursaries you can apply for to help cover the costs of coming to college, depending on your circumstances.
