Uniformed Public Services
If you’re inspired by our front line workers and want a job where no two days are the same, a career in public services could be for you, whether it’s in the Armed Forces, Fire Brigade or the Police. These services all play a vital role in society and if you choose to work on the front line you’ll be supporting and protecting both our country and its citizens.
You’ll get the real world skills needed to meet the demands of a career in the services and you’ll get to:
- Experience a variety of different roles and responsibilities in the sector so that you can make an informed decision about your career choices.
- Take part in a series of field trips where you can consider public services challenges, test your skills and challenge yourself in team building exercises.
- Hear first-hand from guest speakers within the industry,
- Take part in a challenging work experience residential at Catterick Garrison and test your skills and abilities alongside your class mates. Alternatively you can work with the Charity Veterans at Ease undertaking valuable work in the local community.
