6. Taster Sessions

Get a taste of life at college by coming along to one of our Say Hello and Have a Go Taster Sessions. You’ll get the chance to get to know your teachers, meet your future classmates and have a go at fun course-related activities.

7. Financial support

You may be interested in applying for some of the bursaries and grants that we offer to help cover some of the costs of coming to college, such as travel.

You can find out about this support at our enrolment events or here.

In June, we’ll write to you with information about how to apply for financial support.

8. Registration Day

Just before you receive your GCSE results in August, you’ll receive information from us in the post about your Registration Day. On this day, we’ll ask you to come into college so we can check your GCSE grades and complete your enrolment. The registration day is usually at the end of August.

Don’t worry if you don’t get the GCSE grades you expected, we’ll be able to talk to you about your options and find another course for you to enrol on.

9. Start your course

On your Registration Day you’ll be given details of your first day and your timetable.
