BLOG: Seb's Apprenticeship Story

As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2024, hear from some of our apprentices who are sharing their stories in their own words:

Hi, I'm Seb and I'm a CNC Machining apprentice at Ford Aerospace.

The best part about being an apprentice is being on-site every day, getting to work alongside people who have years of experience in the field that I want to be a part of.

I always wanted to become an apprentice because I’ve always learned better by doing, so being able to learn hands-on and in the job is perfect for me.

Once I’ve completed my apprenticeship, I want to pursue being a CNC Machinist, and hopefully use my skills to find work across the world.

My advice to somebody wanting to do an apprenticeship would be to find a field you are interested in and stick to it!
