That’s why we provide a range of opportunities for students to share their views, influence decisions and help shape the future of the college.
Whether you’re taking part in focus groups, getting involved in student-led projects such as Flag !t or sharing your ideas and feedback, you can make your voice heard and help create a college where everyone feels valued, supported and able to succeed.
Alongside your studies, you could also become a Course Rep or Student Governor, representing your peers and helping to influence decisions that affect student life across the college.

Open to everyone, it helps students, teachers, college management and Governors work together effectively, so everyone’s needs are considered.

Student Governors are voted for by other students and are part of the Board of Governors.
It’s a great chance to see how the college runs and make a real impact.
Plus, you’ll work with our leaders and build awesome skills like speaking up in meetings, gaining confidence and working as a team. It’s also a great thing to add to your CV to help you stand out to employers.
There are two student governor opportunities, depending on your age; one to become the 16-18 student governor and one to become the 19+ student governor.
