Build confidence, grow your digital skills, and open new doors in work and education. This year-long, part-time course is designed for adult learners, whether you're returning to study, changing careers, or exploring something new, and provides a clear pathway into Level 3 study within the department.
You’ll begin by developing essential workplace skills, focusing on how to communicate effectively, work as part of a team, and present yourself professionally. This includes learning how to identify suitable opportunities and create a strong CV that reflects your strengths and goals.

Alongside your technical learning, you’ll explore important and emerging topics within the digital sector, including:
Throughout the course, you’ll apply your learning through structured tasks and activities, with your progress assessed through workbook-based evidence and practical assignments that reflect real-world digital skills.
By the end of the course, you will have developed the knowledge, confidence and foundational skills needed to progress onto further study including Level 3 digital courses within the department or move into entry-level roles where digital skills are essential.
