Alongside classroom learning, students gain hands-on experience through industry placements. Anna has worked in a variety of community settings, while Caelan gained experience through a placement with Newmedica, helping her develop a better understanding of working in healthcare.
For Coppelia, placements have been a key part of the course. “These placements have given me valuable real-world experience and helped me build my confidence in healthcare environments.”
The course is also helping students progress towards their future ambitions. Anna hopes to study Psychology with Child Development, while both Caelan and Coppelia are working towards careers in Adult Nursing and progressing to university.
