Our students have been impressing staff at the Theatre Royal both on the stage and behind the scenes during their work placements.
Level 3 Technical Theatre students Jack and Willow have been putting their skills into action back stage during Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures working on The Red Shoes production.
Meanwhile, Level 3 Dance students Grace and Gabby have been performing on stage in the same production.
Angela, placements programme manager at New Adventures, said “It’s been great having the students with us as part of our placement programme. They have been fully engaged and involved themselves to the full extent and the feedback from the show teams has been excellent.”
“We look forward to continuing the relationship with Gateshead College in the future.”
