Ready to break into the world of TV, film and media? The ScreenLab x ITV programme is your backstage pass to the screen industry. No boring lectures, just real skills, real projects and real connections.
ScreenLab is designed to support aspiring freelancers and emerging creative professionals as they take their first steps into the screen and media industries. The programme combines practical training, industry insight and professional development, helping you build the skills, confidence and connections needed to launch a successful career.
In partnership with ITV Signpost, this 12-week course is designed for adult learners (19+) who are aspiring screenwriters and creatives looking to develop their storytelling skills for the screen. You’ll explore the fundamentals of screenwriting, from shaping ideas and crafting treatments to writing compelling scenes and dialogue.
You’ll also gain insight into collaborative workflows, building a strong portfolio piece for your showreel. The course is supported by dedicated career development, including CV guidance, portfolio building, expert Q&A sessions and valuable industry insights.
On completion, you’ll achieve an NCFE Level 1 qualification and gain access to exclusive opportunities through ITV Academy.
