This short course will train you to provide head massage applications on your clients. You will develop the knowledge and skills to prepare yourself, work area and client and provide a professional head massage application.

You’ll also learn the health and safety, contra-indications and homecare and after care advice to support the head massage service.

You will receive a VTCT Level 2 Award in Head Massage after successful completion of the course.

Required Entry Qualifications
There are no formal qualifications required for this training.
Monday 29th March 2027 from 9.30am until 4pm.
The cost is £75 or you may be eligible for funding if you are 19+.
You will be assessed on your peers during the course.
No kit is required as all equipment and products are provided.

Knowledge

Customer and Personal Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Sales and Marketing: Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.

Education and Training: Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.

English Language: Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Chemistry: Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.
