What are A Levels?

A route into higher education and employment. They demand more individual, in-depth study than GCSEs and place greater emphasis on traditional study skills.

What can I do after studying?

Most students progress onto university to study a Foundation or Honours Degree.

AS Extended Project

All of our students complete a project.This extra qualification involves choosing a topic you are passionate about. You can complete a research project, a written essay or a performance piece. It is highly regarded by universities, attracts UCAS points and helps you stand out from the crowd.

Choosing your A Levels

We hold advice evenings so we can talk to you about which subjects will be best for you.

It's a good idea to:

  • choose subjects you will enjoy
  • choose subjects you'll be good at
  • check your combination of subjects
  • make sure the subjects are what you need for your chosen degree or career
