An A Level study programme timetable is made up of a variety of different learning experiences, effectively bridging the gap between school and university. Each day will run from 9am to 5pm, five days a week and is made up of the following:
Each of your chosen subjects will be timetabled for four hours a week. Closer to exam time, we add in another hour to help with revision. You’ll also take part in group work and one to one sessions with your subject teachers.
Personal tutor sessions
You’ll have a personal tutor and three hours of tutorial sessions that will focus on study and employability skills as well as one to one support to set targets and track your progress.
You’ll have at least five hours of independent study each week to help you get used to planning your time effectively and be better prepared for university.
We have a network of more than 450 employers so we can offer you the opportunity to attend an inspirational work experience placement based on your career or university ambitions.
From zumba to football tournaments and foreign exchange trips to university visits, we offer a varied programme of enrichment activities to ensure your CV and university application are packed full of experiences.
Academy for sport
You can become a member of our Academy for Sport, one of the best in the region. You can choose a range of academy teams including rugby, football, golf or athletics and along with competing weekly you’ll receive a personalised training and nutrition programme, expert coaching and the chance to train at some of the best facilities in the country.
