If you choose to report something anonymously without using your name or contact details, this means we won’t know who has logged the report, you won’t be identified and you also won’t be able to identify anyone involved in the concern you’re raising. We won’t be able to offer any direct or personal advice or begin an investigation based on the information you provide.
Your report will be treated confidentially within the boundaries of our safeguarding policies and procedures.
Anonymous reports still play an important role. They help us understand the issues affecting our college community, spot patterns and improve how we prevent and respond to concerning behaviour.
If you choose to report something with details, we’ll ask you to leave your name and contact information. We’ll be able to contact you directly and offer personal support and advice. The report could be about yourself, another student or a member of staff.
Your report will be treated confidentially within the boundaries of our safeguarding policies and procedures. The information you share will only be passed to the appropriate, trained staff who need it to look into the situation to ensure investigations are fair, impartial and evidence based. We won’t share any personal or identifying details unless we believe there is a real risk to someone’s safety or wellbeing.
If an assault has just happened, or you feel unsafe, at risk, or have injuries that need urgent medical help, please contact emergency services immediately on 999.
Flag !t for good
We’d also like to hear from you about the good stuff that you see or experience. The behaviours that we should celebrate and that help us build a community of respect, equality and shared understanding.
