Travel Support Scheme
Coming to college can be an expensive business that’s why we’ve come up with a fantastic package to help you get more money back in your pocket.
If you live 10 miles or more away from Gateshead College and have good attendance, we’ll give you back half of your travel costs to college. It doesn’t matter whether you travel by bus, car or rail we’ll reimburse half of your costs up to a maximum of £500. This support scheme is open to everyone on the Level 3 Dance programme and isn’t dependant on your household income.
Hardship Fund
If your household income falls into one of the categories below, you could receive travel support up to a maximum of £1,000.
• Income of £25,000 or less for a single parent household
• Income of £30,000 for a coupled parent household
