Nexus Employees Complete Level 2 Customer Service Training with Gateshead College

A new cohort of Nexus employees have successfully completed their Level One ETCAL Award and Level 2 NCFE Customer Service qualification through our collaboration with Nexus, marking another milestone in a growing partnership focused on upskilling teams across the organisation.

Delivered over ten weeks, the course provided learners with practical knowledge and confidence to support customers in a fast-paced, real-world environment.

James Gibson, one of the employees part of this cohort, said “I’ve really enjoyed studying on the course, we have had great discussions with the group and I’ve had the chance to work with people across different Nexus teams, I’m already looking at the next steps to progress further onto the Level 3 course.”

The programme focused not only on building core customer service skills but also encouraged cross-team collaboration bringing together employees from different parts of Nexus to share experiences, ideas and best practices.

Nexus leadership has been a driving force behind the collaboration, recognising the value of professional development in maintaining excellent customer service standards across the network.
