Skills Bootcamps are training courses designed to help you to build sector specific skills and fast track to a guaranteed interview with a local employer at the end of the course.
Am I Eligible?
This training is free to individuals and self-employed people who:
- Are aged 19 or over
- Live in Gateshead, Sunderland, Northumberland, South Tyneside, or County Durham
- Have the right to work in the UK
If you’re an experienced welder looking to take your career to the next level, this Skills Bootcamp is your opportunity to gain the advanced skills and certifications you need to excel in the industry.
Through a blend of theory and practical training, you’ll mastercomplex techniques for welding pipes and other challenging structures.
We’ll help you get to grips with the latest equipment in our dedicated welding workshop.
You’ll benefit from our network of industry partners, with a guaranteed employer interview upon successful completion.
This training is free to individuals and self-employed people who:
- Hold a Level 2 qualification in welding or have 2 or more years of welding experience
- Are aged 19 or over
- Live in Gateshead, Sunderland, Northumberland, South Tyneside, or County Durham
- Have the right to work in the UK
Course length: 16 weeks
Start date: Monday 6th November
Times: 6pm - 9pm every Monday and Wednesday
Location: Skills Academy for Automotive, Engineering, Manufacturing and Logistics
