How to sign-in remotely

Google

Every Gateshead College student is given a Google account where you’ll be able to access a number of Google features including Google Classroom.

On Google Classroom you’ll be able to check announcements and assignments, keep an eye on deadlines and your teacher will be able to check your progress.

To sign-in to Google Classroom you’ll need to use this link or search in Google Play store or Apple App store for Google Classroom.

Signing-in for the first time?

Use your college email address which includes your student number for example [email protected]

Password: The first time you log in your password will be your student number (e.g 123456) and you’ll be prompted to reset the password. (Make a note of you new password and keep it somewhere safe.)

Pssst…If you are already have a Google account, you’ll need to sign out of your personal account to get into your college one.

If you need a password reset, please contact [email protected].

Moodle2

Moodle2 is designed to work no matter where you are as long as you have an internet connection.

In your internet browser, go to https://moodle2.gateshead.ac.uk/

To log in, use the same username and password you use to access the PCs at college. You should now be logged in to Moodle2.

If your username and password isn’t working, please contact IT Services on [email protected].
