Are you interested in a career in the dynamic and constantly evolving field of networking and infrastructure?
Look no further than our T Level in Networking and Infrastructure! Developed in collaboration with leading employers and businesses, this two-year programme has been designed to reflect the needs of the digital sector and the role of a Digital Infrastructure Technician.
Our programme offers a comprehensive blend of theory, technical concepts and principles, relevant to the skills needed in roles such as a digital application technician, infrastructure technician, or IT support roles. Combined with an industry placement that will prepare you for the workplace or higher-level study.
During the programme, you'll dive into the infrastructure support needs of a range of businesses, and gain an understanding of data storage and access levels. You'll enhance your computational thinking skills, and explore digital environments that are critical to the role of a Digital Infrastructure Technician.
Our programme will also cover legislation that is relevant to the role of a digital support technician, including security issues and how they can be overcome. You'll learn how to test system vulnerabilities and ensure that digital infrastructures are secure.
As the course is a T Level, you’ll undertake an industry placement of at least 45 day putting into practice what you’ve learnt in the classroom.
Our Digital Technology curriculum is reviewed by a range of employers to ensure that you will develop the skills required to work in the industry. These include Proto, Sunderland Software City, Hedgehog Lab, Enigma Interactive, DevAcademy, Tombola and Geek Talent.
This course is free to those aged under 19 years old.
Most people aged 19 years and over can qualify for free course fees and there are grants and bursaries you can apply for to help cover the costs of coming to college, depending on your circumstances.

You could progress into roles such as an Infrastructure Technician Apprentice earning up to £15,000 per annum or a Server Infrastructure Technician with the potential to earn up to £40,000 to name but a few; You could further your studies with us on BTEC HND or move onto a university course inclduing
