Get started on your career in Engineering and Manufacturing with this T Level. It has been developed in collaboration with employers and professional bodies which will give you the essential practical and theoretical skills to work in the engineering industry. You'll develop an in depth understanding of how the engineering industry works, principles of engineering design and manufacture, manufacturing techniques, theories of mechanical engineering and a wide range of practical engineering skills.
As this course is a T Level, you'll spend 80% of your time at college studying and 20% on an industry placement, where you will put what you have been learning in the classroom into practice with an employer.

- Further engineering science
- Mechanical Engineering
- Principles or Further Electrical and electronics principles
- Advanced manufacturing
- Engineering design process
Once you have completed this course you can join our HNC, secure an apprenticeship or progress into employment or university.
Five GCSEs at 5-9 including English and maths.
This course is free to those aged under 19 years old.
Most people aged 19 years and over can qualify for free course fees and there are grants and bursaries you can apply for to help cover the costs of coming to college, depending on your circumstances.
