This course is for people who want to work as plumbers. It will allow you to
learn & develop the skills required for employment and/or career progression
in the plumbing sector.
On this course, you will cover:
- Health & safety training
- Scientific principles of plumbing
- Electrical principles and processes
- Hot & cold water systems
- Central heating systems
- Sanitation and drainage
- Communication within the building services engineering sector
- Basic installation techniques of plumbing appliances
Study methods
There is a 50/50 split between practical workshop sessions and classroom work, where you will be taught the underpinning knowledge to enable you to pass the online exams.
How the course is assessed
Assessment will be through a range of practical assignments and theory based on-line examinations. The course will be taught through a range of varied activities including classroom based theory sessions and skills workshops to develop the necessary installation experience.
