Are you looking for a future career in mechanical engineering? The engineering technologies level 3 programme has been specifically designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the engineering sector. The curriculum design and selection of units for this programme has been done in partnership with the employers we work with. This feedback is crucial to ensure we provide our students with the skills, knowledge and behaviours, which employers are looking for, and to help our students stand out in the jobs market.
Please note you will require a level 2 qualification that includes turning, milling or both to access the mechanical pathway at level 3. (Don’t worry if you don’t have this, you could consider joining our Ford engineering academy level 2 and returning for level 3 next year or alternatively choose the electrical / electronic pathway). The learning is a blend of theory and practical based sessions with a large proportion of the delivery-taking place in the workshops to develop your practical skills.
