Level 2 Travel and Tourism

This is the course for you if you are interested in a career in the exciting travel and tourism industry. Ideal if you want to develop a wide range of employment skills and achieve an industry recognised qualification. Plus, thanks to our friends at Swissport, the people responsible for airport ground services, if you pass our specialist airport operations unit you will automatically qualify for an interview with them.

Written in partnership with leading travel companies, this course is designed to develop a broad range of skills, which will allow you to choose from a range of jobs within the industry.

You will study all aspects of the travel and tourism industry including holiday resorts and travel companies, world and UK destinations and customer service and selling skills and a specialist unit on aviation and airpline operations.

Pass this unit successfully and you'll be guaranteed an interview with our employer partner Swissport, the people responsible for ground services at airports.

  • Retail Travel Services
  • World and UK Destinations

You'll also study maths and / or English at a suitable level and go on trips to tourism destinations to bring the industry to life.
