Higher National Qualifications in Architectural Technology for England include enhanced work-related curriculum that is designed to address an increasing need for high quality professional and technical education pathways, which equips you with the right skills and competencies for the workplace or progression to further higher education study.

The course aims to:

The HNC (Higher National Certificate) in Architectural Technology is an introductory higher education qualification and offers a broad base of traditional construction subjects with specialist options.

You will study 8 modules in total in order to successfully complete the HNC award, where all  students take a total of 120 credits at level 4.

  • UNIT 4: The Construction Environment
  • UNIT 5: Legal and statutory Requirements in Construction
  • UNIT 6: Digital Applications for Construction Information

  • UNIT 14: Principles of Refurbishment
  • UNIT 26: Digital Applications for Building Information Modelling
