This course is ideal if you’d like to pursue a career as a Mechanical Engineer or progress on to a degree course at university. The part time course is run over two evenings per week for two years. You will develop your skills and knowledge in a broad range of areas covering modules in engineering science, mechanical principles and manufacturing processes in a practical environment.

Progression to university courses vary by institution and you should check the entry requirements for any course you plan to take after an HNC.
The College offer opportunities for progression onto HND General Engineering.
An appropriate level 3 qualification or relevant A levels.
Mature students may be offered a place without these qualifications,
depending on work experience and a satisfactory interview.
There are loans available that you can apply for to help cover the costs of course fees and living costs(if studying full time).
