Do you have ambitions to be a Digital Journalist or Content Creator?
On this course you will be working in a professional environment on challenging projects such as our industry based and successful Newsroom, taking on the roles of researcher, writer, video producer, podcaster, photographer and presenter.
You'll be generating topical and trending content as part of our cross college CoLab initiative, working with Music and Performing Arts, Hair & Beauty and Art & Design on various projects throughout the year in addition to commissions set by our external industry partners.
Every successful industry is now represented digitally and you'll be using social media professionally, creating content for clients and using industry standard software.
Validated by the world-renowned University of the Arts London (UAL) this qualification gives you the freedom to explore your potential, take creative risks and find the path that challenges and excites you. Learn through experimentation and exploration by engaging with practical and theory sessions, projects, lectures, trips and visits.
The course has been designed and refined with our industry partners to ensure that we are providing you with the skills you need in an ever-evolving digital workplace or further study at degree level and above.

The standard entry requirements for this course are:
4 GCSE grade 4 or above (grade A*-C), including English and Maths
Applicants who do not meet all the course entry requirements, may still be considered with discussion around portfolios and experience.
If you're unable to continue with your application to this course, an alternative course will be explored and further advice and guidance offered.
This course is free to those aged under 19 years old.
Most people aged 19 years and over can qualify for free course fees and there are grants and bursaries you can apply for to help cover the costs of coming to college, depending on your circumstances.
