You will be introduced to a variety of experiences that explore a range of two-dimensional and three-dimensional media, processes, techniques and new media. You will explore the use of drawing for different purposes, using a variety of methods and media. You'll build a portfolio of your work throughout the year and explore images, artefacts and resources relating to a range of art, craft and design from the past and from recent times, including European and non-European examples. You'll also complete practical and written assignments.
What can I study with this A Level?

Most people aged 19 years and over can qualify for free or reduced course fees. This depends on your individual circumstances.
If you already have a full level 3 qualification and are aged 19 or over you can apply for an Advanced Learning Loan or pay the fee in full upfront, minus a 10% discount.
