You'll develop your understanding of working in film, TV and theatre, learn how to create historical looks as well as the latest trends and study body art and camouflage make-up.
By the end of the course, you'll have a look book of your work to show employers.

Throughout the course, we'll monitor your progress and provide constructive feedback to help you to improve where needed. We assess you in a range of ways including practical tasks in our commercial salon Botanica, projects from which you'll create a portfolio of evidence or look book, written coursework and assignments and one end of year exam.
The final assessment will be carried out by a representative from the awarding body.
All practical sessions will be taught in our onsite commercial salon Botanica which houses two hairdressing salons, a beauty suite, barbering space, nail bars and a dedicated make-up room.
You'll wear a salon uniform and use a professional artist kit.
