The Virtual Production Level 5 Bootcamp is designed for aspiring professionals who want to master the future of games and media production. With the industry-standard Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) at the core of this training, you’ll learn to create and manipulate immersive digital environments, gaining hands-on experience that prepares you for real-world production scenarios.
This comprehensive program offers an opportunity to use a state-of-the-art Virtual Production stage, where you will engage in practical projects from shoot prep and setup to live production days.
You’ll explore a wide range of skills that are all essential for developing realistic digital world, including:
By the end of the course, you will have practical knowledge in virtual filmmaking, positioning you for roles such as Virtual Production Technician, Unreal Engine Specialist, or VP Artist. This bootcamp not only equips you with technical skills but also emphasises the creative and collaborative aspects of virtual production.
Over the course of this bootcamp you will develop the following skills:
You will complete a final project where you’ll use all the skills learned to create a fully immersive virtual production scene from concept to completion.

In addition, for in person sessions, our teaching rooms provide a realistic, practical learning environment.
This course is free (fully funded) for independent learners (those not taking the course through their employer).
To be eligible, you must:
Employers using bootcamps to upskill their workforce will be required to pay a contribution (10% for SME and 30% for large employers).
If you are an independent learner, you will be guaranteed a job interview in industry
This bootcamp will prepare you for a career as a Unreal Engine Specialist, Virtual Production Technician or a Virtual Production Artist, as well as other more general Games related roles.
All applicants are invited to interview and take part in an initial assessment process to check your suitability for this bootcamp.
In addition, all applicants are required to have the following:GCSE English and Maths at grade 9-4 (A*-C), or equivalent.
