Learn how to apply, maintain manual and spray tanning techniques in just a day!

This workshop will train you to provide both manual and spray tanning applications application on your clients. You will develop the knowledge and skills to prepare yourself, work area and client and provide a professional tanning application.

You’ll also learn the health and safety, contra-indications and homecare and after care advice to support the maintenance of the tan.

You will receive a VTCT Level 2 Award in Tanning Techniques after successful completion of the course.

Assessment
You will be assessed on your peers during the course.
No kit is required as all equipment and products are provided.
The cost is £75 or you may be eligible for funding if you are 19+.
This course starts on 2nd June 2027

Knowledge

Chemistry: Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.

Mathematics: Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.

English Language: Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Computers and Electronics: Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

Mechanical: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
