Skills Bootcamp – Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice


This Skills Bootcamp will help you gain an understanding of the principles and practices of internal quality assurance.

This bootcamp will provide you with a in-depth understanding of how to lead a team of internal quality assurance staff to raise organisations quality processes.

You’ll receive a NCFE Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices.

You will cover the following units:

  • Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment
  • Internally assure the quality of assessment
  • Plan, allocate and monitor work in own area of responsibility

Assessment

You will be assessed using a wide range of assessment methods which will include:

  • Observation of your practice
  • Professional discussion
  • Reflective accounts of your own practice
  • Written assignments
  • Presentations

After you’ve finished your Skills Bootcamp, you’re guaranteed a job interview with an employer.

You could also:

  • Find new business opportunities if you’re self-employed

All applicants are invited to interview and take part in an initial assessment process to check your suitability for this bootcamp.

This course is free (fully funded) for independent learners (those not taking the course through their employer).

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be aged 19 or older
  • Live in the North East Combined Authority area (Gateshead, Sunderland, South Tyneside, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland or County Durham)
  • Have the right to work in the UK and meets residency requirements
  • Employers using bootcamps to upskill their workforce will be required to pay a contribution (10% for SME and 30% for large employers).

Duration: 16 weeks
