This qualification provides you with the knowledge and skills to lead a team of internal quality assurance staff who maintain the quality of assessment from within an organisation.

The qualification provides recognition of your knowledge and competence of leading the internal quality assurance of assessment processes and practices.

You will cover the following units:

  • Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment
  • Internally assure the quality of assessment
  • Plan, allocate and monitor work in own area of responsibility

You will be assessed using a wide range of assessment methods which will include:

  • Observation of your practice
  • Professional discussions
  • Reflective accounts of your own practice
  • Written assignments
  • Presentations
