Games & Digital – Entry Level 3


If you love games and want to learn how they’re made, this course is the perfect place to begin.

You’ll explore the creative and technical sides of gaming while building core digital skills.

You’ll:

  • Use industry-standard creative software to design and create content
  • Explore game design principles and create simple playable project
  • Learn about digital imaging, animation and interactive media

Assessment

You’ll complete hands-on coursework that shows your creative and technical progress.

You’ll attend an interview and complete Maths and English alongside your main course.

WHAT CAN I DO WITH A QUALIFICATION IN GAMES & DIGITAL – ENTRY LEVEL 3?

  • Graphic and Multimedia Designers

Knowledge

Design: Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Fine Arts: Knowledge of the theory and techniques required to compose, produce, and perform works of music, dance, visual arts, drama, and sculpture.

Communications and Media: Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.

Computers and Electronics: Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

Sales and Marketing: Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
