This course is designed to help students prepare for university or higher apprenticeships. You will choose one pathway in either Computing, Data Analytics or Cyber Security and will gain an extended certificate, which is the equivalent of one A-level. You will study this alongside two other A-level subjects.
You will chose one of the following three pathways:
1. Computing
2. Data Analytics
3. Cyber Security
You will be demonstrate your understanding using both internal and external assessment methods.

All A-level students will undertake an work experience placement so if you’re interested in this field, you will be given opportunities to take part in an industry placement that will enhance your CV and give you the employment edge. You can apply and go through an interview process to mirror industry practices.

All students need to obtain a strong GCSE grade profile, averaging 6 x Grade 6s. You must also have passed maths and English Language at Grade 6 or above.
If you don’t meet this profile, please still come to one of our enrolment events to discuss all of your options with a member of our A-level team.
This course is free to those aged under 19 years old.
Most people aged 19 years and over can qualify for free or reduced price course fees and there are grants and bursaries you can apply for to help cover the costs of coming to college, depending on your circumstances.
If you already have a full level 3 qualification and are aged 19 years over, you can apply for an Advanced Learning Loan or pay the fee upfront in full and qualify for a 10% discount.
