This course equips you with the technical and strategic skills needed to excel in AI development and data science.

The AI and Machine Learning Level 5 Bootcamp is designed for individuals seeking a career in AI, data science, or solutions architecture.

This programme offers a comprehensive curriculum that blends strategic planning with technical implementation, covering essential tools and frameworks used in AI and machine learning development.

You’ll work on real-world applications, gaining hands-on experience in developing AI models, processing large datasets, and building predictive algorithms.

The bootcamp also emphasises ethical considerations, ensuring you understand the responsible use of AI technologies.

Whether you want to become an AI Engineer or a Data Scientist, this course provides you with the practical skills and strategic knowledge needed to thrive in these fast-growing fields.

Over the course of this bootcamp you will develop the following skills:

  • AI Foundations: Explore the core concepts of AI and machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
  • Data Processing and Analysis: Gain expertise in data cleaning, processing, and analysis using Python and relevant AI libraries.
  • Model Development: Learn to build, train, and deploy AI models using popular frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Ethical AI Practices: Understand the ethical considerations of AI implementation, focusing on bias, transparency, and responsible usage.
  • Real-World Applications: Work on hands-on projects that involve developing AI models for industry-specific applications.

Assessment

You will engage in a hands-on project where you create a comprehensive AI solution that demonstrates your understanding of AI and machine learning principles.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to study for and take the optional Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals certification to evidence your readiness for industry.

Duration: 8 weeks.

As our bootcamps are delivered via a blended approach we ensure that learners have access to industry standard software.

In addition, for in person sessions, our teaching rooms provide a realistic, practical learning environment.

This course is free (fully funded) for independent learners (those not taking the course through their employer).

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be aged 19 or older
  • Live in the UK
  • Have the right to work in the UK and meets residency requirements

Employers using bootcamps to upskill their workforce will be required to pay a contribution (10% for SME and 30% for large employers).

If you are an independent learner, you will be guaranteed a job interview in industry.

This bootcamp will prepare you for a career as a Full Stack, Web or Junior Developer, as well as other more general software related roles.

All applicants are invited to interview and take part in an initial assessment process to check your suitability for this bootcamp.

In addition, all applicants are required to have the following:
GCSE English and Maths at grade 9-4 (A*-C), or equivalent, and be able to code in Python.

We recommend that learners have at least a Level 3 qualification in an IT/Tech related subject, however, we welcome applications from people without this qualification and will consider your interview and initial assessment performance.
