All awards are subject to funds being available. The Foundation reserves the right to reduce or refuse requests if they are deemed to be excessive or funds are limited.

You understand that it is your responsibility to inform the DWP/Jobcentre Plus if you receive an award for living costs or housing costs that are already being covered by welfare benefits

All awards are subject to a minimum of 92% attendance, adhering to the student code of conduct and funds being available

If you use fraudulent methods to obtain financial support, the College disciplinary procedures will apply and the police may be informed.

If successful with your application you agree to repay in whole or in part, at the discretion of the Gateshead College Foundation, the award made if you withdraw from your course without good reason.

Gateshead college may make payments to third parties where appropriate

You may be asked to return items that are purchased on your behalf to the Gateshead College Foundation on completion of your course

You will inform the Support Funds Team immediately of any change of circumstances which may affect entitlement to support
