If you are aged 16-19 and have a passion for track and field sports then we can help you go the distance.
Our Academy for Sport is based at Gateshead International Stadium - home to major national and international athletics events - and is shared with the English Institute of Sport, making it part of an elite network of sport facilities in the UK.
We have expert coaches and trainers who will help you reach the peak of your chosen discipline and a range of full-time programmes to help you reach your academic ambitions.
Our Athletics Academy coach, Matthew Wood, is also one of our Community Sports Coaches who visits schools and clubs to help youngsters develop their athletics skills.
