We work hard to make sure your child enjoys their time at college and leaves us with valuable skills and knowledge to help them move directly into employment or to university.

In supporting our students we often work very closely with their parents/carers.

Listed below are the services we offer, together with contact details.  Please don't hesitate to contact us if you feel we can help in anyway.  In most circumstances we involve students in communications we have with parents and this is always the case for students who are eighteen years of age and over.

Careers Advice - We offer specialist careers guidance and advice on course choices, progression routes, training and higher education.

Learning Support - The Learning Support Team provide a range of services to support students who have additional support needs.  An initial assessment of individual needs can be arranged.

Financial Support  - For information and advice about Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA), Adult Learning Grant, Learner Support Fund and funds which might be available to support the costs of learning.

Welfare Adviser - Confidential support is available from our Student Welfare Adviser on personal or course related issues. Help is also available to young parents and pregnant teenagers.

Learning Resources - The Learning Centres Team provides a wide range of services at all sites to support studies and help learners achieve.

Student Activities - GO4IT is an activities programme for full-time students. Students can take part in fun activities like dance, yoga, drama, trampolining, multi-sport, football, excursions and more.
