We’ve been ranked 18th in The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List!

The long awaited Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers published on November 30th showcases leading organisations working across all strands of diversity.

In recognition of our continued dedication to workplace diversity, Gateshead College has been ranked 18th in The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List – a definitive list of UK based organisations that promote inclusion across all protected characteristics, throughout each level of employment within an organisation.

Powered by The Excellence in Diversity Awards, The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers is a dynamic and exclusive resource that has identified the most inclusive companies across the nation.

Demonstrating the promotion of all strands of diversity including age, disability, gender, LGBT, race, faith & religion; the definitive list focuses on representation at management, senior, executive and board level.

Complied by a dedicated panel of judges the list has been collated based on each organisations performance on a range of areas within the diversity arena. Organisations featured have provided sufficient evidence on an amalgamation of topics including recruitment procedures, training and a host of diversity related initiatives.

The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List in partnership with Rullion recognises the outstanding efforts of organisations that have begun their journey to attracting and retaining a truly diverse workforce, achieving equality, diversity and inclusion at its purest form.

“The most successful and prosperous employers understand the value and rewards of harnessing diverse talent” said Founder & CEO, Paul Sesay. “Those featured on the definitive list of the UK’s most inclusive employers are leading the way in providing inclusive workplaces where everyone feels empowered to be the very best they can be”.

Congratulations also go to fellow North East Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service who were ranked 4th in the list.
