Young entrenpreneurs are quids in for Cash for Kids

The project, which has been run in partnership with Metro Radio, Cash for Kids, Gateshead College and Gentoo, aimed to encourage local schools to get into the entrepreneurial spirit while raising money for Cash for Kids.16 teams from schools across the region developed various business initiatives including selling mobile phone accessories, voucher booklets, cakes, bespoke key rings and photographs. 

In total in the 16 teams raised…. £3,662.88 - an amazing total!!The winning team was fromVenerable Bede COE School in Sunderland they raised £1,000. This school will now receive a grant of £1,000.
