£6.2 million boost to North East England as regional growth fund announced for low carbon vehicle sector

North East England today welcomed the announcement from Government of a £6.2 million boost to the low carbon vehicle economy of the region.

At the core of the bid is a plan to create 1,500 apprenticeships, in the low carbon vehicle sector as a result of the successful bid.
