Pupils from Lingey House Primary School performed their end of
year play - a modern take on the classic Cinderella tale- at
Gateshead College. Fifty pupils put on four performances of
'Cinderella Rockerfella' in two days at the 250-seat Baltic Campus
theatre at Gateshead College, where they were supported by
professional lighting technician and college lecturer Martin
Hodgson.

Gateshead College, has teamed up with the Amateur Boxing
Association of England (ABAE) to launch a High Performance
Boxing Centre, which is one of only seven high performance boxing
centres in the country. The new Boxing Academy will be Gateshead
College's tenth specialist sport centre.

Dozens of Gateshead College students have been celebrating after
achieving record breaking A Level results. The hard work and
success of the students who received A* - E grades saw the college
achieve an overall 97% pass rate this year.

remain in education but not wanting to stay on at school. Gateshead
College offer a number of post GCSE courses including A levels,
vocational and diploma courses and apprenticeships.
