Our Academy for Sport is part of a cutting edge sport facility at Gateshead International Stadium.
The facility is home to the College's sports students and prestigious sports academies who train alongside elite athletes who use the facility.

The state-of-the-art academy features:
- Classrooms equipped with integrated IT
- Sports science and medicine facilities
- Performance lab
- Aerobics studio
- Learning resource centre
- 83m long athletics hall
- Outdoor artificial and grass pitches floodlit throwing area.
Students and sports academy members work with the community to perfect their sporting skills whilst gaining academic and coaching qualifications, all in an environment which inspires them to achieve great success.
The Academy is shared with the English Institute of Sport (EIS) and Gateshead Council, bringing the centre in to a network of nine national elite multi-sport facilities.
