Having completed the HNC in Construction and the Built Environment you can undertake this one-year programme to gain aHND taking you from level 4 to level 5.

This course is designed to enable you to pursue a professional career in the construction industry, progress within your current employment or study for a BEng Degree in one of the many areas available; Architectural, Management or Surveying for example.

A number of our former students have taken this route and have successfully progressed to university, gained employment, promotion or changed career.

What will I study?

Mandatory units include:

  • Site Surveying
  • Law and Contracts 
  • Project Management
  • Structural Behaviour
  • Construction Methods and Design Solutions

Three further optional units will be studied to complete the qualification and ensure a wide range of relevant technical knowledge is gained, leading to possible career progression or further academic study.

120 Credit HNC in a related subject.
