You’ll also learn a range of professional beauty techniques including facial skin therapy incorporating Dermalogica skin care, a variety of makeup techniques, eye treatments, warm waxing, hot waxing techniques, manicure and pedicure.
Throughout the course, you will develop your practical skills by performing professional treatments on paying customers in our own commercial Baltic Salon and Spa at Baltic Campus
You will have the opportunity to perfect your customer care skills by booking appointments, welcoming clients and interacting with customers when working on our Botanica Salon, Spa and Barber reception. You will also be supported in entering national industry competitions in which many of our students have gone on to be successful.
A beauty therapist can expect to earn between £12,000 to £17,000 a year and salon managers can earn over £20,000. On completing this course, you could progress onto the Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy or Spa Therapies.
