This scheme, along with our tutorial programme will help you become work ready as well as preparing you for the outside world with training on money management, help with job hunting, interviews and confidence building.
English and maths
You use these skills all the time in work and they are crucially important for employers. Studying English and maths in college is different to school and you will see how these skills are relevant to the industry you are interested in working in. We look at what you can do when you join us and then we’ll put a programme together which best meets your needs and aspirations. This might mean working towards a pre-GCSE qualification or towards an A*-C grade in GCSE English and maths and, if you’ve already achieved this, you’ll continue to build on your skills in these subjects.
