Course overview
A Levels are the most popular means of entry to University for 16-18 year olds. If you are 19+, A levels are still available to you BUT you may want to find out more about HEFCs.
The second year of A Levels is called A2. Our students typically study three of these having studied 4 at AS in their first year. We are happy to accept applications from students wishing to transfer to our A2 after studying AS elsewhere
We offer
A2s in a wide range of subjects.
Fantastic support whilst you study - you'll have your own personal tutor.
Support and practical advice to guide you through the UCAS applications process.
Outstanding, world class facilities and resources.
A2 demands even more in-depth study than AS level and we place greater emphasis on independent study skills.
In order to undertake A2s at Gateshead College you will to:
have passed subjects well at AS Level (with the appropriate examination board)
We're here to help you make your choice. We have friendly staff who are experts in this area and can give you informed and up to date advice. Come to one of our open events or call to make an appointment on 0191 490 2246.
