Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Engineering Manufacture

The apprenticeship in Engineering Manufacture is designed to increase the productivity of your organisation.

Our strategy to achieve this is to train front line operators in total productive maintenance (TPM). The philosophy is that operators are the best people to train to do simple maintenance tasks such as equipment checks, lubrication and cleaning, as well as quick repairs or part replacements. You operators work with the equipment on a day-to-day basis and know at an early stage when things are not quite right (noises, smells, friction, leaks, quality concerns etc.)

They are also best placed to identify equipment that is not running correctly in order to react before a more serious failure or breakdown occurred which could result in longer stoppages and effect the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
